The Viewspaper

Sun 21 May 2017

The Viewspaper is a online youth magazine. I had the opportunity to intern here, over the holidays, for a month in July 2013 during the second year of college. I was required to submit 3 articles every week for 4 weeks. Some of the articles I would say I am proud of while some, I am quite sure that I am not too happy with.

You can see the certification of my time at The Viewspaper here: (pdf).

All of the submitted articles were published and you can see them here:

  1. Write a travelogue: Walking with the Warkaris.
  2. Write a movie review: Kumare: The True Story of A False Prophet.
  3. Write a Book Review or a TV Show Review: Born to Run: A review.
  4. Analyse a recent advertisement that you have seen: The Perks of Being a Software Developer.
  5. Our Environment is dying, Speak out for it: Shedding Light On the Urban Environment.
  6. Review a Latest Gadget: Jawbone Up: A Review.
  7. Analyze an International Business/Economic situation or development: On the Rise of Crowdfunding.
  8. Cover a Sporting Event: The Tour de France 2013.
  9. Comment on a Societal Practice that you're a part of: Why We Dance.
  10. Interview a Youth Icon: In Conversation With Madhumita Halder.
  11. Write your view on a recent Political Situation or Incident that you have developed strong opinions about: Why We Need Educated Leaders.
  12. Analyse alternate career options for the youth: Exploring Veterinary Science In India.

This internship proved to be quite a learning experience, even more so since I had never done anything like it before.
